Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse’s supervision. This role supports multiple locations within a 75-mile radius and includes compensation with premium pay provisions.

Requirements include 3 months in long-term care, 18+ age, and active CNA certification where applicable; a strong commitment to safety and quality resident care is essential. This is a non-union, on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Active CNA certification is required where applicable in state.
• Minimum age 18 with long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and mobility.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dietary needs as part of care plan.
• Administer prescribed medications per scope of practice and supervision.
• Participate in wellness activities and maintain clean living areas.
