Sanford Health is hiring a Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care under a charge nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document care with a focus on safety and quality for residents across our facilities.

This role requires minimum 18 years of age, 3 months in long-term care, and possible state CNA/CMA/TMA certification. A weekend shift and travel within a 75-mile radius are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 3 months experience in Long Term Care (6 months preferred).
• State-specific CNA/CMA/TMA certification may be required or obtained within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Administer medications per plan of care and document outcomes.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and activities of daily living; monitor vital signs and report changes.
