Americare Senior Living seeks a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer prescribed medications and provide compassionate daily care to our residents in Farmington, MO. You will work under licensed nursing supervision, ensuring accurate dosing, safety, and respectful resident interactions.

This full-time CMA position emphasizes teamwork, meticulous documentation, and adherence to state regulations to promote wellness and quality of life for seniors in a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program that meets state requirements.
• Active CMA certification in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support team members by providing assistance as needed. Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested.
