Americare Senior Living in Kansas City, MO is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe medication administration and daily care to residents in a senior living community. You will work under licensed nursing supervision, verify resident identity, document dosage and observations, and support activities of daily living while delivering dignified, resident-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program that meets state requirements.
• Active CMA certification in good standing.

Aufgaben

• Administer prescribed medications under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, intake, and output as ordered.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support team members by providing assistance as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested.
