Job summary

Americare Senior Living in Carthage, MO is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to safely administer prescribed medications and provide compassionate daily care to residents. Under licensed nursing supervision, you will verify identifications, document dosages, and monitor residents for medication effects.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of a CMA program that meets state requirements.
Active CMA certification in good standing required.

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications under licensed supervision.
Verify resident identity before administration; document dosage, time, and observations.
Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions promptly.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care and medications.
