Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe medication administration and compassionate daily care to residents in Sikeston, MO. Work under licensed nursing supervision to ensure accuracy and dignity in care within a warm, home-like environment.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring residents, maintaining documentation, and supporting daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a CMA program that meets state requirements.
• Active CMA certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration and document dosage, time, and observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions or concerns.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care and intake/output.
• Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as required.
• Support team members with needed assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping and help with tours as requested.
