Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support licensed nurses in providing safe, patient‑centered care across our communities and small house neighborhoods. You will administer prescribed medications, monitor residents, and document actions in accordance with state regulations and company policies.

The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN options with 1st–3rd shifts. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, with $3.00 2nd shift and $1.50 3rd shift differentials,

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Certification: Ohio CMA certification, CPR and active CNA/STNA certification.
• Experience: At least 12 months of direct care as CNA/STNA; long term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per state regulations and policy.
• Observe residents for adverse reactions and report concerns to the nurse.
• Document medication administration promptly in the resident’s chart.
• Provide personal care assistance and support daily living activities as needed.
