Qualifications

• Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the state.
• Maintain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in good standing with the state.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications under licensed nurse supervision.
• Follow the five rights of medication administration.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Label, store, receive, and destroy medications per policy.
• Chart medications as directed by the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
