Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Bardstown, KY is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA/CMA). You will administer prescribed medications under nursing supervision and assist residents with activities of daily living.

Maintain state QMA/CMA certification and CNA status, with 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred. The position offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth in a caring long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the state and maintain a CNA Certification in good standing with the state.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The QMA sets up, administers, and records prescribed medications for residents under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Practice the five rights of medication administration within the scope of your role.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Label, store, receive and destroy medication per company policy.
• Perform medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
