Job summary

Harmony Cedar Rapids is seeking Certified Medication Aides who are also CNAs to join our caring team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role supports residents with medications, daily living activities, and safety, delivering high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent, an unencumbered State of Iowa CNA certificate, successful completion of Iowa-approved Medication Aide training and CPR certification.
• One year of CNA and Medication Aide experience is preferable but the right candidate may be invested in.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents’ responses.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Observe changes in residents’ condition and report to the clinical team.
• Provide education and support to residents and families as needed.
