CountryHouse Cedar Rapids is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This part-time role involves safely administering medications and maintaining accurate records within an Agemark Senior Living community.

You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor for changes, and build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and staff. Training and a supportive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa 40-hour Medication Aide certification as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain required records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and promptly report them to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while providing compassionate, respectful care.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Help create a positive, supportive environment where residents feel valued and cared for.
