Job summary

CountryHouse Cedar Rapids, part of Agemark Senior Living, is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our caring team in Cedar Rapids, IA. Safely administer medications, document accurately, observe residents, and support daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to serve older adults.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to physician orders and residents’ care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain required records.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, side effects, or concerns and promptly report them to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while providing compassionate, respectful care.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
• Help create a positive, supportive environment where residents feel valued and cared for.
