Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus in Columbus, Nebraska, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our nursing team in a post-acute setting. You will administer medications under supervision, monitor residents’ conditions, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate with the care team to implement personalized care plans.

As part of our compassionate unit, you will maintain accurate medication records and ensure resident safety while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Currently certified as a Medication Aide and Nurse Aide in the state of Nebraska
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by physicians, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or designated supervisor
• Monitor and record vital signs, medications, and treatments as required
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the Charge Nurse or designated supervisor
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of medications, treatments, and resident care
