Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our compassionate team in Columbus, Nebraska. You will administer medications, monitor residents, and assist with daily living activities in a post-acute skilled nursing setting.

The role reports to the DON and requires current Nebraska Medication Aide and Nurse Aide certifications, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the care team and ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Currently certified as a Medication Aide in Nebraska.
• Certified Nurse Aide in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by physicians under supervision of Charge Nurse.
• Monitor and record vital signs, medications, and treatments as required.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to Charge Nurse or supervisor.
• Collaborate with care team to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of medications, treatments, and resident care.
