Job summary

The Regency Skilled Nursing & Therapy in Shawnee, OK is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. The CMA will administer medications as prescribed by the physician, document outcomes, and support residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and personal hygiene.

Qualifications

• Valid CMA certification is required.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care environment preferred.
• Ability to document medications and monitor effects.

Responsibilities

• Administer, assist, and supervise the administration of medications according to the physician's order.
• Document medications administered, along with their effectiveness and any side effects. Update the patient's chart.
• Assist with daily living activities and observe changes in residents' condition and report as needed.
