Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK is seeking a full-time Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join the team. You will administer oral and topical medications under nurse supervision, following physician orders and facility policies.

The role requires state certification as a Medication Aide, strong observation and communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality resident care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• State certification as Medication Aide is required.
• Familiarity with the five rights of medication administration.
• Ability to observe, document, and report reactions or side effects.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by a physician under supervision of a licensed nurse, following regulations and facility policy.
• Record medication administration and treatments accurately.
• Observe for and report adverse reactions or side effects to a licensed nurse.
• Administer PRN medications in accordance with policy and regulations.
