Job summary

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, OK seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for full-time shifts. You will administer oral and topical medications under physician orders and the supervision of a licensed nurse, in line with state and federal regulations and facility policy.

As a CMA, you will join a multi-disciplinary team devoted to resident care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services.

Qualifications

• Must hold state Medication Aide certification.
• Credential for medication administration required.
• Familiarity with duties of a certified nurse aide.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and report to nursing staff.
• Ensure five rights of medication administration are followed.
• Provide timely PRN medications as per policy.
