Job summary

Americare Senior Living in St. Peters, MO, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe, accurate medication administration and compassionate daily care to residents in a warm, home-like setting.

Under supervision of licensed staff, you will ensure correct medication delivery, monitor residents, and maintain detailed records, while contributing to a respectful, resident-centered care approach and teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) program and CMA certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity before administration and document dosage/time/observations.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care.
