Job summary

Dial is seeking a CMA to administer routine medications and provide personal care to residents in a compassionate, compliant manner. You will document administration, monitor health, and support daily living activities within state guidelines.

Responsibilities include charting, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with nursing leadership to ensure resident safety and comfort. A CMA certificate and First Aid training are required, with experience in elder care preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide certificate or state med-pass certification.
• First Aid training completed as required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience caring for older adults and administering medications.
• Ability to follow physician orders and resident service plans.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately per physician orders and plans.
• Document medications given or missed according to policy.
• Monitor residents' health, safety, and well‑being.
• Record changes in residents' status, appointments, vitals, and needs.
• Complete incident reports and maintain resident records.
• Respond to emergencies and arrange medical follow-up as needed.
• Report concerns to DON/ADON or Executive Director.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Assist with oxygen therapy and other plan requirements.
• Help with laundry, bed making, and meals as requested.
• Identify needed supplies and notify DON.
