Americare Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe medication administration and compassionate resident care in our skilled nursing community in Sedan, KS.

You will administer prescribed medications, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with licensed nursing staff in a fast-paced environment to support residents’ health and quality of life.

Qualifikationen

• 16+ years of age requirement.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a Kansas-approved CMA course.
• Active CMA certification in good standing with annual updates.

Aufgaben

• Administer prescribed medications under licensed supervision.
• Verify resident identity and document dosage and timing.
• Monitor medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility support.
• Recognize changes in condition and inform charge staff.
• Take and record vitals per facility policy.
• Identify medication shortages and report to supervisor.
• Maintain accurate resident care documentation.
• Support coworkers as needed and assist with admissions, discharges, transfers.
• Complete related documentation for care and regulatory compliance.
