Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide program that meets state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to administration and document dosage/time.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including hygiene, meals, and mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care per Americare policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to promote resident safety and well-being.
