Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe, accurate medication administration and compassionate resident care within our skilled nursing community in Eureka, KS.

In this role you will support residents' health and daily living activities, collaborating with licensed nursing staff in a fast-paced clinical setting while ensuring compliance with state regulations and Americare policies.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification in good standing with Kansas requirements.
• Completed CMA course approved by Kansas State.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Verify resident identity prior to medication administration; document dosage and time.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Recognize and report changes in resident condition to charge staff.
• Take and record vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care and intake/output.
