Job summary

Good Samaritan Society seeks a Medication Assistant (CMA) to provide resident-centered nursing care in Fargo, ND. Under a charge nurse, you will assist with daily living activities, administer medications per state rules, and document care and outcomes.

The role supports evening shifts, with 3pm-11pm hours, part-time schedule, and opportunities for cross-training within a fast-paced environment. Scrubs are welcome and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 18 preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Annual continuing education: 12 hours required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Delivers basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, toileting, and vital signs.
• Administers prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Documents care, medication outcomes, and any changes to charge nurse.
• Assists with meals, dining, and recreational activities.
