Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. You will coordinate medication administration for residents and assist with activities of daily living, ensuring comfort and safety.

Daily duties include assisting with medications, personal care, grooming, hygiene, and meals; documenting tasks, shift reports, and resident records; and communicating needs to the Health Care Director. This role supports holistic resident care and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required.
• Must be certified to pass medications per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
