Harborview Health Systems seeks a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join the care team. You will provide direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision and assist with administering medications, ADLs, and documenting care.

The role requires CNA training, current CNA and Medication Aide certifications, CPR, and at least 1 year of healthcare or 2 years as a medication aide. Strong communication and safety awareness are essential, with a focus on compassionate resident support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Active CNA certification in good standing.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare experience or 2 years as a medication aide.
• Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and support residents safely.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under RN or LPN supervision.
• Assist in administering medication to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
• Maintain a clean, safe, supportive environment.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
• Document care and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Support care team in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
