Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate team, delivering high‑quality care to residents under supervision. You will provide direct patient care, assist with medication administration, monitor vital signs, support daily living activities, and help document changes for nursing staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CNA training, active CNA and Medication Aide certifications, CPR, and at least 1 year in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of state-approved CNA training program.
• Active CNA certification in good standing.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year health care industry experience or 2 years as a medication aide.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN or LPN supervision.
• Assist in administering medication to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, BP).
• Assist with resident mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, supportive environment.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and families.
• Assist in documentation of care and report changes to nursing staff.
• Support care team in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
