Position Overview

The Medical Resort of Bay Area is seeking a talented Certified Medication Aide to join our team. We have openings for Double Weekend CMA shifts. Our facilities provide outstanding care and foster strong employee bonds, offering short-term to long-term care and various living options. We aim to change how care is delivered by bringing together compassionate, highly skilled, and motivated individuals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver routine daily medications, prescription or non-prescription, to residents.
• Coordinate with nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
• Follow written or verbal instructions for medication management.
• Record medication dosages and administration times.
• Observe residents and document any changes in their condition.
• Gather samples for analysis as required.
• Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.
• Respond promptly to patient emergency signals and intercom alerts.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Medication Aide and Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing or eligible to become certified in your state.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CMA.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
• Completion of orientation as per company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment, if required.
• Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Provide evidence of identity and employment eligibility within three days of hire.
