Job summary

Accura HealthCare of Toledo is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team in Toledo, IA. The CMA will administer medications, assess information, and perform treatments in coordination with the resident’s care plan and facility policies.

We offer flexible scheduling with 1st shift (6:00am–2:00pm) and 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm). Wages up to $21.33/hour, depending on experience, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold current CMA certification with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific certification (includes current CNA certification).
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and in coordination with the resident’s care plan.
• Assess information and perform treatments as delegated by the nurse.
• Follow facility policies, procedures and state/federal regulations.

JOB SUMMARY:
