Job summary

Accura HealthCare of Pierce is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. The CMA will administer medications and provide personal care as delegated by the nurse, contributing to a person-centered care approach.

The role offers full- and part-time opportunities with shifts from 6 am–6 pm and rotating weekends/holidays. Starting wage is $19.50 per hour, in Pierce, NE, at a 75-bed SNF committed to quality care and staff partnership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold current CMA certification with applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain a state-specific certification (includes current CNA certification).
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as part of the care plan and state/federal regulations.
• Assess information and perform treatments in coordination with the resident’s care plan and facility policies.

JOB SUMMARY

Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) are responsible for administering medications, assessing information, and performing treatments in coordination with the resident’s care plan, the facility’s policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations.
