Job summary

Winfield Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for a full-time 6a-6p shift to support residents’ health and well-being in Assisted Living. You will administer medications, monitor dosages, and assist with daily living activities, reporting observations to the nursing supervisor.

The role emphasizes safe medication administration, compassionate care, and teamwork with the caregiving staff to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Med Tech Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to administer medications safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately within your scope of practice.
• Monitor medication dosages and maintain appropriate storage practices.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Check and record vital signs and weights to maintain resident stability
• Provide personal hygiene care with respect and compassion
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests
• Ensure residents’ comfort using available resources and materials
• Transport residents as needed
• Communicate observations and concerns to the nursing supervisor
