Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC is seeking a CNA with Texas CNA and Texas Medication Aide certifications to join our inpatient care team in Palestine, TX. The role supports direct resident care and medication administration in a day shift with every other weekend off.

Salary ranges from $16.50 to $18.50 per hour, with a shift bonus for extra shifts. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and life insurance options, plus paid time off and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid Texas CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Texas Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage and time of administration on specified forms or records.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application or administers medication using specified procedures.
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
