Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated CNA with an active Medication Aide certification to support residents at Vista Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Lewisville, TX. You will verify medications, monitor resident responses, and record vital signs as part of a compassionate care team.

The role involves direct patient care, medication administration under procedures, and timely reporting to supervisors. On-site position with benefits typical of a healthcare facility.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid CNA certification in good standing.
• Must have current Medication Aide certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage and time of administration on specified forms or records.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application or administers medication using specified procedures.
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
