Good Samaritan Canistota is seeking a Medication Assistant to deliver resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. The role includes administering prescribed medications, monitoring resident needs, and supporting dining and activities to maintain a positive living environment.

Qualified candidates may have CNA certification, be able to obtain CMA/TMA as required, and commit to ongoing education credits.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant knowledge and patient-care skills.
• Ability to document care and vital signs.
• Willingness to engage in continuing education as required.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under supervision of a charge nurse.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Perform daily living activities and assist with meals and mobility.
• Record outcomes and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Support wellness and recreational programs and assist with care planning.
