Job summary

The Addison of Woodstock, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking compassionate Medication Aides to join our team in Woodstock, GA. You will support residents with medications, daily living activities, and personal care in a warm, senior-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in GA as a Medication Aide and maintain licensure.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per standards.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance and daily living support.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and comfort measures.
• Monitor vitals and weight, and document intake/output.
• Supervise CNAs as directed.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in GA as a Medication Aide, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
