Job summary

The Addison of Gwinnett Park, a Sonida Senior Living community in Lawrenceville, GA, seeks a licensed Medication Aide to responsibly set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards. You may supervise CNAs as directed and assist with daily living activities.

You will provide personal hygiene support, help with meals, mobility, and monitoring of vital signs, contributing to safe, compassionate resident care in our assisted living and memory care

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Georgia as a Medication Aide.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed.
• Provide Residents' personal hygiene and daily living assistance as needed.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and comfort measures to support daily living.
• Monitor vital signs and weight, and document intake/output.

Medication Aide Responsibilities Include

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in Georgia as a Medication Aide, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
