Position Summary:

This Certified Medication Aide will be a CNA - STNA who works under the direction of the Charge Nurse, administering prescription medication and performing other duties.

The individual will maintain full knowledge of their duties, responsibilities, and accountability, acting in accordance with laws pertaining to medication administration by a certified medication aide. They will document in the medical record and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements for this position:

• A minimum of one year experience as a CNA - STNA
• Completion of an Ohio Board of Nursing approved Medication Aide Training Program
• Active, unrestricted Medication Aide Certification by the Ohio Board of Nursing
