Job summary

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Carlisle County, KY, is seeking a dedicated CMA to assist residents with medication administration, monitoring, and documentation. We offer a full-time or PRN daytime schedule in a compassionate, long-term care setting.

The CMA will monitor health changes, support residents who self-administer medication, and maintain accurate records in a friendly, team-oriented environment. Benefits and interview opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must enjoy working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations.

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 61-bed facility, set in the heart of beautiful, rural Carlisle County. We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate CMA to help us care for our residents. Our DON or administrator will be glad to set up a convenient time for you to come for an interview and tour our building.

CMA Responsibilities
