Job summary

Countryside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our 61-bed rural facility. The CMA will provide medication administration and care to residents per orders, and supervise self-administration while following regulations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience or training, and be flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations
