Job summary

ClearView Healthcare Management in Williamstown, KY is hiring a Certified Med Aide (CMA) to provide medication administration and supportive care to residents according to orders.

Qualifications

• One year of CMA experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience working directly with older adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance per health care provider's orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication following guidelines.
• Report changes in residents' condition or behavior to the health care team.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, activities, incidents, and observations.

CMA Responsibilities:

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance and services according to health care provider's orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents and observations

CMA Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of CMA experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience working directly with older adults preferred
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
