• Graduate of Medical Office Specialist with ICD-10, CPT, DRG rules is acceptable.
• CCS or other credential or 1 year of relevant experience required within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records for diagnoses and procedures.
• Assign ICD-10, CPT-4, DRG codes according to coding rules.
• Abstract information into the in-house coding/abstracting system.
• Ensure 95% accuracy in coding and abstraction.
• Coordinate outpatient and inpatient coding for various payers.
