Job summary

Jobrapido seeks an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong outpatient and ED coding experience. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in outpatient coding, including ED coding, and holds CCS/RHIT/CCS certifications. This is a 100% remote contract for 8 weeks with a 35-hour workweek.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a weekend day as needed. W2 pay at $35/hr. The role requires proficiency in ICD-10, ICD-9-CM, CPT-4 and 3M/HDS coding tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• ER/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding and payer guidelines.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application .
• Knowledge of HDS Coding Application .

• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
