Job summary

Jobrapido is seeking a Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department experience for a 8-week, 100% remote contract. Work hours are 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, totaling 35 hours per week, with one weekend day optional.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years outpatient coding, ED coding, and acute care coding experience, plus 3M and HDS coding tools knowledge and AHIMA/RHIT certifications. Compensation is $35/hour on W-2.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Familiar with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of payer and federal billing guidelines.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
• CCS/ CCP/ AHIMA RHIT certification
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• English proficiency required.

Job Summary
