Job summary

Jobrapido is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with outpatient and ED coding experience for a 100% remote contract.

The position runs for 8 weeks, 35 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM) with one weekend day. Pay is $35/hr on W‑2. Requirements include 3–5 years of outpatient coding, ER/ED coding, acute care coding, and CCS/CCP/AHIMA RHIT credentials. Proficiency with 3M and HDS coding systems is preferred.

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• ER/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal guidelines.
• Strong computer skills.
