Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Medical Coder specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical coding guidelines, OB/GYN procedures, and accurate assignment of diagnosis and procedure codes in accordance with applicable coding standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records, clinical documentation, and physician notes to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Apply appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for OB/GYN-related services and procedures.
• Code obstetric, gynecological, prenatal, postpartum, and delivery-related services, as applicable.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with applicable coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify documentation gaps, coding discrepancies, and opportunities for clarification.
• Support claims processing, reimbursement accuracy, and denial prevention.

Required Qualifications
