GBIT (Global Bridge InfoTech Inc) is seeking a Certified Medical Coder specializing in OB/GYN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding for obstetric and gynecological services, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA-compliant handling of records.

We are hiring immediately for a detail-oriented coder who can meet productivity and quality targets while staying current with coding updates and payer policies.

Formación

• Active CPC certification or equivalent medical coding credential.
• Experience in medical coding with OB/GYN focus.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding systems.
• Familiarity with obstetric and gynecological diagnoses and terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Review records to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for OB/GYN services.
• Code obstetric, gynecological, prenatal, postpartum, and delivery services.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines and payer policies.
• Identify documentation gaps and remediation opportunities.
• Support claims processing and denial prevention.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and meet productivity targets.
• Stay current with OB/GYN coding updates.
