Park Bridge Rehabilitation and Wellness Center seeks a qualified medical coder to interpret medical records, assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes, and ensure compliant reimbursement under payer guidelines. You will collaborate with physicians for data clarification and support the Billing & Collection team to resolve coding issues.

Role requires experience in coding and auditing professional services, and certification such as CCS-P or CPC. On-site position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a coding or change charging related department/billing revenue integrity, denials, auditing.
• Minimum Experience: Experience coding and auditing professional fee surgical procedures and office visits.
• Required Licenses/Certifications: CCS-P or CPC certification required from AHIMA or AAPC.

Mansioni

• Adheres to ICD-9-CM coding conventions and CPT rules.
• Selects and sequences diagnoses and procedures per data set definitions.
• Collaborates with physicians to clarify data for coding.
• Ensures accurate diagnosis coding to the highest specificity.
• Performs month-end tasks and reports for centers.
• Provides feedback and education to physicians on billing and documentation.
• Works with Billing & Collection to resolve coding issues.
• Performs professional fee and documentation audits across specialties.
• Researches and resolves coding edits to ensure compliant reimbursement.
