Renown Health Network is seeking a qualified Medical Coder to accurately assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for encounters across the network. The role emphasizes compliance with CMS guidelines and timely billing within Epic workflows.

Qualified candidates will translate documentation into codes, audit daily charges, and collaborate with care teams while staying updated on coding policy changes and denial management processes.

Formación

• Knowledge of coding conventions and CMS guidelines for ICD-10-CM.
• Ability to translate diagnoses into ICD-10-CM and CPT codes accurately.
• Experience with code audits and payer denials processes.
• Understanding anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology for accurate coding.
• Familiarity with professional fee billing and regulatory changes.

Responsabilidades

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for encounters ensuring accurate, complete coding.
• Code/audit encounters in Epic queues and maintain timely unbilled charge work.
• Address insurance denials and assist in provider clarification to expedite reimbursement.
• Work independently or in a team and communicate with healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to Professional Services Coding and Billing policies and stay updated on guidelines.
