Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support our comprehensive weight loss clinic. Working closely with the primary care physician, you will help deliver high-quality patient care within the medical assisting scope and state guidelines.

You will review and update health records, measure vital signs, prepare treatment rooms, and perform clerical tasks. Active MA certification is required; BLS and clinic experience are assets; we offer competitive pay and

Formación

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Active Medical Assisting certification from CMA/RMA/CCMA/NHA/NCMA/NCCT is required.
• BLS certification required at hire for certain Mercy Health locations; preferred before independent patient care at some sites.
• One year of medical assistant healthcare experience (preferred, not required); two years of clerical experience in a physician’s office (preferred, not required)

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and the community in a respectful manner.
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits by verifying diagnostic test results and other medical records.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, height).
• Perform clerical duties such as inventory checks, tracking referrals, and answering phones as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
