Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a primary care physician at Amberly Village Physicians. You will review and update health records, measure vital signs and prepare treatment rooms for examinations, contributing to efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, reviewing charts, handling clerical duties, and ensuring documentation accuracy while complying with MA certifications and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active CMA/RMA/CCMA or ABR-OE acceptable (if MA certification not obtained).
• BLS certification preferred or required for some locations.
• 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide respectful customer service.
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Perform clerical duties: stocking, referrals tracking, phone duties.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
