NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Primary Care and Multispecialty practice seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support exam rooms, triage patients and collect specimens in a fast-paced clinic.

This full-time, 37.5-hour week with standard hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on-site at 502 86th Street, requires graduation from an accredited MA program, CMA or RMA certification, and willingness to work weekends or evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Minimum of one year medical assistant experience or internship in a physician practice.
• Current CMA or RMA certification through AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT.
• Bilingual English; Polish; Russian; and Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prep and assist in the exam room.
• Triage patients.
• Collect urine and draw blood samples.
• Take and record height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients.
